A Professional Member of ASIC shall:
Support and promote the purposes and goals of ASIC.
Perform his/her work within the best interest of the client and the ultimate user.
Serve the client or employer with integrity and understanding.
Enter into no agreements that would present a conflict of interest in recommending or specifying products, procedures, vendors or contractors.
Legitimately represent his/her professional qualifications and experience.
Adhere to a realistic and consistent fee schedule based on professional capabilities.
Research and verify performance of design techniques, products, and installation methods specified.
Subscribe to ethical business practices in all verbal, contractual, and warranty obligations.
Promote water, soil and energy conservation by providing and promoting efficient design concepts.
Conform to all codes, statutes, laws and regulations governing protection of public safety, and encourage reasonable precaution in the absence of such.
